Street Fayre

Information about the Street Fayre 2026

Come and join us for our Biennial Street Fayre at Langham raising funds in support of Langham Church and Village Hall – all are welcome and there will be something for everyone!

What is happening and when?

There will be lots of activities and entertainment throughout the day to include: for the children, Bingo and Bluey will be out and about to say hello;  you can meet and learn all about Bailey the Barn Owl and enjoy a fairground ride and games between 10am and 4pm.

Some events however are scheduled at certain times: –

  • 10:00 – Fakenham Town Band

  • 10:30 – Dog Show – Categories are:

    • Fancy dress (Dog and Owner)

    • Cutest Puppy (6-12 months)Golden Oldie (8yrs +)

    • Prettiest Lady

    • Most handsome fella

    • Waggiest Tail

    • Best Rescue

    • Small and Sassy

    • Big and Beautiful

    • Look alike

    • AND, Best in Show (judging of all first prize winners)

  • 11:00 – Morris Dancing on the street in front of the pub/bar

  • 11:45 – Fire Bubbles yes it is what it says on the tin, the children will LOVE it

  • 12:30 – Fakenham Town Band

  • 13:15 – Morris Dancing

  • 13_45 JDT Rock Choir to sing us out!

The raffle will be drawn at 3pm – if you can’t stay we will contact you to let you know you’ve won something!

And in the Evening:

  • 18:00 – Cocktail hour and Bar re-opens plus, freshly made stone baked pizzas

  • 19:00 – Castaway Crew to entertain you with Sea Shanty’s

  • 20:00 – And our Headliners – HOT SQUASH (North Norfolk’s coolest band)

  • The evening will conclude at 10 pm

Where?

In Langham, Near Holt, NR25 7BP

What you need to know:

  • Car Parking can be found at:

    • North Street What3Words ///moods.thatched.output / NR25 7DG; and at Holt Road (What3Words ) ///agenda.hazelnuts.attracts NR25 7DA.

    • Disabled Parking is at the North Street Car Park.

  • Car parking £3 per vehicle

  • Please kindly note that the Holt Road – the main street running through the village – will be closed to through traffic from 7 am to 11 30 pm on 15 August

  • To facilitate ease of access for emergency vehicles NO PARKING will be allowed on parts of Binham Road, Field Dalling Road, Hollow Lane and North Street in Langham and the areas affected will be coned off, so please make your way to one of the designated car parks
